’Q’emcín 2 Rivers Remix (2RMX) is a FREE 2-day outdoor feast of contemporary Indigenous music and culture hosted by the Nlka’pamux nation and the Village of Lytton on May 18-19, 2018 that will showcase more than 18 original Indigenous musical artists.

According to Artistic Director Meeka Morgan (Secwepemc/Nuu-Chah-Nulth/St’atlimc/Nlka’pamux heritage), 2RMX focuses on exciting new Indigenous artists that empower youth and women. “We have Indigenous performances from almost any musical genre from hip-hop to folk, metal to blues, rock to electronic – and more than half the lead performers are women while one-third are youth (under 25).”

Surrounded by stunning canyon vistas, 2RMX will feature outdoor live performance stages with music, spoken word, and dance, as well as video screenings, interactive music workshops, an outdoor Indigenous collaborative art exhibition, and an Indigenous Artisan street market. 2RMX will engage new audiences with a danceable remix of urban/rez, visual/musical, hip-hop/pow-wow, and personal/political.
